Harold Frederick Jones

Passed away at Veterans Hospital Loma Linda. A resident of San Bernardino County for 79 years. Survived by daughter Lynda Schubert and son-in-law Bill Schubert, daughter Laura Northrop, all of San Bernardino, son Lee Jones and daughter-in-law Shirley Jones of Fountain Valley and son Larry Jones and daughter-in-law Traceye Jones of Lake Havasu, Arizona; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; a sister Pauline Werner of Yuba City; his companion Nancy Anthony. Graduate of San Bernardino High, U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, serving three years in the Philippines. He was a cable splicer at Norton Air Base where he retired in 1980. An avid antique car enthusiast who did his own work to restore old cars. Past President of the Paradise Valley Model A Club where he was a founding member for 45 years. He also enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the B & B's. Viewing will be Sat., Aug. 28th at 9 a.m. followed by services at 10 a.m. at Montecito Chapel, 24145 Barton Rd., Loma Linda.
